Michael Allen, known to many as "Mike," embodies a life of profound service, dedication, and leadership in South Carolina. As a Past State Deputy, Field Agent and District Master for South Carolina, Mike’s story is a testament to lifelong learning, professional achievement, and unwavering devotion to faith and community.

Mike Allen laid the foundation for a life of purpose. Seeking academic excellence, Mike attended Trinity University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in health science. At Trinity, he distinguished himself not only through academic achievement but also through a genuine interest in allied health fields. Over the years, Mike would go on to earn several certifications and designations, further building his expertise and reputation as a diligent and compassionate health professional.

Parallel to his professional career, Mike Allen pursued another lifelong passion: service to the Knights of Columbus and the preservation of Fr. Michael J. McGivney’s vision. Mike became a Knight in 1988, fully embracing the order’s mission of charity, unity, and fraternity.

Upon retiring from his successful healthcare career, Mike felt a renewed calling. He decided to join the Boni Agency as a Field Agent. This transition marked a new chapter in Mike’s life—one that allowed him to protect and serve his fellow Knights, their families, and the broader community.

Mike’s preparation for this role was thorough and deliberate. In March of 2025, he studied and received his insurance license in South Carolina, demonstrating the same diligence and discipline that defined his earlier career. Eager to deepen his expertise, Mike is also currently studying for his Fraternal Insurance Counselor (FIC) designation, ensuring that he can provide the highest level of guidance and support to those who rely on him.

In addition to his work with the Knights and the Columbus HOPE Foundation, Mike sits on the Board of Directors for the Felician Center, Inc. of Kingstree, SC. The Felician Center is devoted to providing essential services—from food and shelter to educational opportunities—to those in need.
